Peace Corps Information Session (Updated 1/18)
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Wednesday, February 13, Mary GraydonCenter 247
The Career Center will host the Peace Corps for an information session on Wednesday, February 13, 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., in MGC 247.
Since 1961, more than 182,000 volunteers have served in the Peace Corps, working in such diverse fields as education, health, HIV/AIDS education and prevention, information technology, business development, the environment, and agriculture. Serving in the Peace Corps is a great way to immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and have the experience of a lifetime.
A Peace Corps representative will provide an overview of the volunteer experience, answer questions, and provide advice regarding the application process.
Peace Corps service is a 27-month commitment and volunteers must be U.S. citizens and at least 18 years of age.
Log into AU CareerWeb or Kogod CareerSource to RSVP.
