Milton and Sonia Greenberg Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award

Each Year, the Center for Teaching, Research and Learning invites nominations for the 2011 Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award. The award recognizes and promotes the systematic analysis of the practice of teaching and the application of research-based approaches to instruction and curricular design. Each year, the award will be made to an individual or team of faculty who have made a significant contribution to the scholarship of teaching and learning.

All full-time faculty individually and in teams are eligible. Nominations will be accepted from faculty, deans, and chairs. Faculty may also self-nominate. The recipient(s) will receive $2,000 plus an additional stipend of up to $1,000 to defray expenses involved in dissemination the results of the study through presentation at a conference or publication. Recipients will be expected to present their scholarship of teaching approach and findings at a CTRL sponsored event.

DEADLINE: October 2012

More information on how to submit a nomination will be posted here in August 2012
