Full-Time Faculty Orientation
At the beginning of the fall semester the Office of Academic Affairs and the Center for Teaching, Research & Learning (CTRL) host a welcome orientation for new full-time faculty members. For many years this well-received program has assisted new faculty in their successful transition to the university community by introducing them to the resources which support their roles as scholars and teachers.
Adjunct Faculty Orientation
The Adjunct Faculty Orientations are held for new adjunct faculty at the beginning of each semester: Fall, Spring, and Summer. The orientations introduce new faculty members to the various services and support options available at AU, and allows you to complete your Human Resources paperwork, obtain parking permits, get plugged into technology and learn about services offered here at American University!
