About Graduate Academic Advisors
Graduate academic advisors may be professional staff or faculty members, depending on the teaching unit and the level of graduate study (i.e., post-baccalaureate certificate, master's or doctoral program). Although their duties may vary widely, in general, graduate academic advisors inform graduate students about curricular, research and internship or capstone requirements and make recommendations about how to fulfill those requirements in a timely manner.
