Symposium on Language & Endangered Alphabets (Updated 3/27)

4-5 p.m., Keynote - Endangered Alphabets
Author and Champlain College professor Tim Brookes will speak about endangered alphabets. Professor Brookes will also discuss the texts he has carved in many of the world's 30+ endangered writing systems. His work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian Institution and in Canada, the U.K., Spain, and Indonesia.
Coffee and snacks will be available throughout the event, and at 5 p.m., there will be a reception with hors d'oeuvres and a viewing of the carved texts.
