All incoming Honors freshmen have the opportunity to join an Honors living-learning community. Students who select this option live on an Honors floor of an AU residence hall and enjoy the company of fellow Honors students and engage with resident assistants (RAs) who are also members of the University Honors Program. The Honors RAs provide these Honors living-learning communities with special programming such as faculty lectures, debates and trivia nights. They also coordinate with the Student Honors Board to sponsor additional activities. Participation in an Honors living-learning community is a great way for an Honors student to connect with spirited, ambitious and studious individuals dedicated to academics and a rich social life. Placement is through AU’s Housing and Dining Programs.
