The diverse and cutting-edge human rights courses available to students demonstrate American University's commitment to human rights. With over 130 courses on a wide range of human rights topics, students receive a well-rounded education through an integrated curriculum with opportunities for hands-on, practical experiences. Professors also address an array of interdisciplinary themes that integrate human rights into subjects like Marketing for Social Change and Global Corporate Citizenship. These classes complement traditional human rights courses such as Human Rights and U.S. Foreign Policy.
