Irina Komives serves as a point of contact for all matters related to proposals prior to submission to the sponsor. Irina provides budget development services as needed, reviews proposal budgets for compliance with AU and federal guidelines, coordinates signatures for pre-approval of budgets over $250k, and coordinates the AU routing process with PI, Dept. Chair, Dean and Vice Provost. In addition, Irina reviews proposal components for responsiveness to Request for Proposals (RFPs), completes sponsor online forms and budget forms, and submits proposal when institutional submission is required, and provides information regarding funding opportunities that have been identified by the PI as being of possible interest.

Nia Pree serves as a point of contact for all non-financial post-award matters. Nia reviews and negotiates award terms and conditions to ensure compliance and institutional acceptance, submits carry-forward and re-budgeting requests, obtains the signature of authorized institutional official, facilitates award start up meetings to advise of award special terms, conditions and/or restrictions, develops project budgets in accordance with sponsored award, produces project briefs for sponsored awards, reviews and processes non-financial award modifications, supplements and amendments, drafts and issues sub-recipient and subcontractor agreements, facilitates close out of awards, submits non-financial award/project reports: technical, progress and final reports when institutional submission is required.

Joe Gesa is OSP's Systems Administrator. His duties include the support of Cayuse, the university's proposal submission software, as well as maintenance of all systems related to electronic research administration. These include proposal management systems like NSF's Fastlane, NIH's eRA Commons, and GrantSolutions.gov. As data custodian, Joe serves as the point of contact for inquiries into sponsored research activity both within the university and in response to prospective sponsors' application requirements. Joe also maintains OSP's website.

Jennifer Wagner serves as OSP’s Operations and Communications Manager. Her duties include the implementation and delivery of services associated with electronic funding search systems; the research, compilation and delivery of OSP’s weekly funding opportunity announcements; administrative and budgetary management of OSP; event planning for OSP sponsored events; and, website maintenance.
