Students may enroll only in the AU course associated with their particular NSLC program. Courses may be taken for either one (1), two (2), or three (3) college credits depending on the offering. Students who elect to earn two or three credits for their AU course can anticipate more from their experience, as described in the Two Credit and Three Credit Option sections of the Academic Expectations page. Other important enrollment information regarding policies and deadlines is outlined on the Policies page. It is important to read all of this information before registering.

Prior to the start of each NSLC program, American University professors will contact their NSLC credit classes to welcome students to the exceptional learning experiences ahead.
