CHEM-460 Instrumental Analysis (3)

Course Level: Undergraduate

Analytical and instrumental methods; statistical analysis of data and errors; theory of optical and chromatographic methods including ultraviolet, visible, infrared, and fluorescence spectroscopy, and gas and liquid chromatography; atomic spectroscopy; mass spectrometry; and nuclear magnetic resonance. Usually offered every fall. Prerequisite: CHEM-320, MATH-222, and PHYS-210.
