Course Level: Undergraduate
(FM, PJ, PC) Introduction to basic technical and aesthetic principles of black and white photography, from learning how to operate 35mm film and digital SLR cameras, to processing and developing film, and printing both in the darkroom and digitally. Usually offered every term. Prerequisite: COMM-105 or ARTS-100 or GDES-200, film and media arts, graphic design, or multimedia major, and minimum 2.5 GPA.
