Web Studio (3)

Course Level: Graduate

How to construct a web site from the ground up, including site planning, graphics creation, optimization, and publishing. Students use graphic development tools such as Macromedia Fireworks, as well as the web site editing tool Dreamweaver to turn their ideas into fully functional web sites. Students also study the web site development process, how to create an audience-driven creative brief and subsequent web site, and how to build and critique a site for maximum usability. Students should expect to spend additional time in the lab outside of the scheduled class time. Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite: previous computer experience.
