Advanced Topics in Film and Media Arts (3)

Course Level: Graduate

Topics vary by section, may be repeated for credit with different topic. Rotating topics in the production analysis of specialized areas of film and electronic media storytelling, such as screenwriting, directing, or advance editing techniques. Usually offered every term. Prerequisite: admission to the MA in Film and Video or MFA in Film and Electronic Media.

Master Class: Screenwriting

This course is for those who have already written a feature film screenplay. Students hone their projects into a finely-tuned film script that exhibits the professional standards expected by the film community. Every script has its unique challenges, so the course is designed to speak to each script individually. Prerequisite: COMM-561 or permission of school.
