ECON-370 International Economics (3)

Course Level: Undergraduate

Introduction to international trade and finance and open economy macroeconomics. Includes why countries trade, trade policies and their effects, the balance of payments, foreign exchange markets, and fixed and flexible exchange rates. Usually offered every term. Prerequisite: ECON-100 and ECON-200. Note: Intended for majors in other teaching units and B.A. in Economics-general track. No credit toward B.A. in Economics-international track, B.S. in Economics, or B.S. in Mathematics and Economics.
