Develops basic intertemporal frameworks for analyzing economic growth, consumption, saving, and investment. Introduction to models used to examine major policy issues in public finance, monetary policy, financial markets, and open-economy macro. Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite: ECON-705 or admission to PhD program or permission of department.
