Modern Political Thought (3)

Course Level: Undergraduate

Works of major political theorists from the sixteenth to the twentieth century and their application to current questions of theory and method. Included are Machiavelli, Hobbes, Locke, Montesquieu, Rousseau, Mills, Hegel, Marx, and others. Meets with GOVT-605. Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite: GOVT-105, and minimum 2.5 GPA.
