Course Level: Graduate
This course examines important works in political theory from the late nineteenth/early twentieth century to the present, with a view to the major upheavals that distinguish this era. Themes addressed include Marxism, fascism/totalitarianism, liberalism, conservatism, communitarianism, libertarianism, postmodernism, and others. Meets with GOVT-409. Usually offered every spring.
