Mobile App Design

This course teaches students about the process of creating a mobile app, from learning about the appverse itself to development, design, economics, management, and prototyping. Students learn how to manage the app development process from start to finish including how to create wireframes and create a working prototype on their phone; the basics of mobile app design and the holistic appverse; and using prototyping tools to mock up a mobile app. They also gain an understanding of the steps and skills needed to build an iOS app; the concepts and principles that make a great app and how to apply them to their own ideas; and the basics of managing the app development process. May be taken pass/fail only. Prerequisite: permission of advisor.
