Course Level: Undergraduate
Develops students' academic writing and research skills. Builds students' abilities to construct extended arguments and synthesize diverse materials. Emphasizes information literacy, including evaluating source material and making strategies and appropriate use of different sources. Usually offered every term. Note: Completion of LIT-132 with a grade of C or better and an Advanced Placement English Language and Composition score of 4 or 5, score of 4 or 5, or a Higher Level International Baccalaureate Examination score of 5 or higher fulfills the university College Writing and Writing Proficiency requirement. Open only to students in the University Honors Program.
