Physics for a New Millennium FA5 (3)

Course Level: Undergraduate

In an interactive lab/lecture environment, students have the opportunity to explore topics in electricity and magnetism, light and optics, and modern physics. Emphasis is placed on inquiry-based activities that utilize these topics as a foundation for understanding current technological advancements. Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite: PHYS-100 or PHYS-105 or PHYS-110.

Course Level: Undergraduate

Through an interactive learning environment, students have the opportunity to explore and engage in topics related to sound and waves, light, color, and optics, as well as electricity, magnetism and modern physics. Emphasis is placed on inquiry-based active learning strategies that apply these topics across a wide range of fields, including, but not limited to, the visual and performing arts, and communication and media technologies. Usually offered every spring.
