Course Level: Washington Semester
Focusing on policy and the relationship of the models of development and environmental problems, the seminar links the world of the policymaker with that of the academic theorist. The theme of the seminar is: What do we mean by development, and how do we get there while preserving the planet? Usually offered every fall and spring. Prerequisite: permission of Washington Semester Program. Co-requisite: SIS-472.
