Contemporary India (3)

Course Level: Undergraduate

This course examines the contemporary politics, society, and economy of India, one of the largest emerging powers. Students explore issues of democracy and market liberalization, religion, politics, and identity in the post-Gandhi period. May be taken A-F only. Prerequisite: SISU-206 and SISU-280.
