European Economic Crisis

This course focuses on European efforts to deal with the current economic crisis, and tackle problems of economic governance, addressing the impact of crisis on member states, and on European efforts to deal with challenges for political democracy arising from the crisis. This course also focus on EU trade instruments and their impact on trade policy law and negotiations, in the hope students can use the laboratory of Washington DC to focus on a collaborative practicum project related to European trade politics.
