Sociological Reasoning with Quantitative Data (3)

Course Level: Undergraduate

This course introduces the basics of sociological reasoning with quantitative data. In the course, students learn what kinds of sociological questions can be answered with quantitative data, develop a sense of statistical thinking, and gain the ability to conduct basic statistical analysis with SPSS. Usually offered every fall. Prerequisite: SOCY-100 or SOCY-110 or SOCY-150. This course does not satisfy the University Mathematics requirement.
