SOCY-322 Qualitative Research Methods (3)

Qualitative Research Methods (3) This course is an in-depth exploration of qualitative sociological research methods with an emphasis on the particularities of qualitative coding and data analysis. Students learn about interviews, content analysis, participant observation, comparative historical methods, and focus groups through readings and practical exercises. Usually Offered: spring. Prerequisite: SOCY-100 or SOCY-110 or SOCY-150.
