Social Movements and Social Change (3) This course explores the social and cultural dynamics of social movements from a transnational perspective. The focus is both theoretical and empirical. Students gain in-depth knowledge of how social movements create or resist social change and learn about social movements through analysis of specific empirical cases. Usually Offered: fall. Prerequisite: three courses in sociology.
