Introduction to Mathematical Statistics (3)
Course Level: Undergraduate/Graduate
Probability, probability distributions, sampling, sampling distributions, and introduction to the theory of point estimation and statistical inference, including confidence intervals and hypothesis testing. Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite: MATH-501 or permission of instructor.
