Investment Banking: Valuation Tools and Techniques (3) This course focuses on the theory and analytics used to value companies, mergers and acquisitions (M&As), private equity placements, and buyout transactions through case readings and real life cases. It also examines how companies structure their equity and debt investments and secure commitments from other capital providers. Additionally, students explore the jargon, key players, and institutional perspectives of different transactions through a variety of analyses commonly performed by investment bankers and private equity professionals.
