The U.N. Environmental Program Center GRID-Arendal Norwegian node provides access to  environmental information pertaining to Afghanistan.

This site contains the GIS Awareness Package in Agricultural Research, which has links to land map studies of  Afghanistan.

Imagery of Afghanistan gathered by India's IRS 1C and IRS 1D satellites at the Dubai groundstation in the U.A.E. is available from Dubai Space Imaging Company and can be ordered via Euromap.
