Jacobs Fitness Center

Local residents of American University can purchase a community membership on an annual basis.

*A Family Membership consists of a spouse or domestic partner and dependents under the age of 18. Family members must be present at the time of registration.

- Membership includes access to the Jacobs Fitness Center, Reeves Aquatic Center, and Bender Arena. Participation in group exercise classes, personal training, and other fitness services are an additional fee. 

- The Jacobs Fitness Center's schedule closely follows the university calendar. The online calendar provides our day-to-day hours of operation.

- There is no towel service at the Jacobs Fitness Center, however, bath towels are available for purchase at the front desk for $12.
