| Fitness assessments consist of several components:
- a step test to measure cardiorespiratory endurance
- a sit-and-reach test to determine trunk flexibility
- one rep bench press and leg press to determine muscular strength in the upper and lower body
- a sit-up test to measure muscular endurance
- skin-fold measurements and circumference measurements to assess body composition
- blood pressure and resting heart rate and also are taken to assure that you're fit to exercise
How Do I Sign Up??
- Become a member of the Jacobs Fitness Center.
- Notify front desk that you would like to schedule a fitness assessment.
- Fill out the fitness assessment form.
- Pay by cash, check or Eagle Bucks.
- A personal trainer will contact you within 48 hours to schedule your assessment.
