Insights by Kemal Dervis on Turkey's Economic and Political Role in dealing with current issues in the ME and Europe (Updated 4/11/13)

The Turkish American Student Association Welcomes Kemal Dervis, the former Turkish Minister of State for Economic Affairs. Mr. Dervis was also the Head of the United Nations Development Programme. He is currently with the Brookings Institution as Vice President and and Director of the Global Economy and Development Program. He will be at AU to discuss Turkey and its economic and political position in Europe and the Middle East, touching on recent topics such as the Kurdish issue and the Cyprus issue.
