CTRL - Research Support Workshop: Introduction to NVivo (Updated 10/30/13)
4:00 pm – 5:15 pm, Thursday, October 17 (2013), Hurst Social Science Research Classroom 202
CTRL's research support workshops are running. Join us this week for Introduction to NVivo. NVivo is a powerful research tool for coding data from a variety of sources, including interviews, surveys, maps, and videos. This program will help automate a variety of qualitative and quantitative research tasks, and provides a single place to keep track of a wide variety of data. Designed for first time and very-new users, this workshop teaches the following basic skills: bringing data into Nvivo or use them externally; creating a coding scheme (i.e., conceptual nodes); coding data in a variety of source materials; and performing basic analyses for frequencies and relationships. Check dates and times, read workshop descriptions, and register for attendance at: https://domino.american.edu/AU/CTRL/CTRL_TrainCal.nsf/Welcome. If you want to schedule in-class workshops for these programs or any other programs we support, please tell us about your needs here: https://american.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_cBZa3F5aX6N7TuJ.
