SIS students and alumni have many opportunities to interact and network with one another. When you become a student, and later an alumnus/a, you are part of an exclusive network of 20,000+ professionals and resources around the world. Students and alumni who take advantage of the SIS Student-Alumni Network might even land a new job through the connections they make.

SIS students and alumni can take advantage of the following opportunities:

  • SIS Student-Alumni Mentoring Program.
  • Annual SIS Student-Alumni Networking Reception - Every Spring.
  • SIS Industry Days - open to current graduate students and alumni interested in visiting an employer and meeting AU alumni that work on-site. Please visit the AU Alumni Events Calendar for future Industry Days dates and locations. Read more here.
  • Alumni panel and symposium discussions throughout the year. Please complete a volunteer sign-up form and note your interests on the form.
  • The official SIS LinkedIn Group connecting more than 8,000 students, alumni, faculty and staff. Throughout the semester, the group features SIS alumni mentors of the week. These individuals will answers professional and career development questions posted to the discussion tab. The spring 2017 schedule is as follows:

  • Dinner with Alumni - The Dinner with Alumni program brings students with alumni together through a series of dinners scheduled during the school year. These dinners are great career networking opportunities for students to interact with current experts in the field. To learn about upcoming alumni dinners, visit the AU Alumni Events Calendar.
  • AU Alumni Association Online Community - the official AU alumni online directory AU students can access. Students are encouraged to connect with fellow Eagles to build their networks.
