Welcome from the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs
Welcome to the SIS Faculty Affairs webpage. The School of International Service has 125 full-time faculty representing a range of disciplines and more than 50 scholar/practitioner adjuncts. We are committed to ensuring an inclusive community, crafting ideas to make a difference, and providing a cutting-edge curriculum with over 200 course offerings each semester.
Our faculty as a whole has published more than 15 books and 60 articles in the past year, and have presented over 150 papers at major conferences around the world. We often publish and present papers with our students. Leaders in our field, including the Presidency of the International Studies Association, Chairs and heads of Program Committees at a range of key conferences, the SIS faculty receive prestigious awards, fellowships, and external recognitions for scholarship, activism, and teaching. Covering every region of the world, our work often influences policy and practice and provides a foundation for future research agendas as well as strategic directions for the worlds of policy and practice.
