Dr. Sikina Jinnah
Dr. Sikina Jinnah brings to AU a history of work with global environmental politics and the politics of globalization. While serving as a post-doctoral fellow at Brown University’s Watson Institute for International Studies, she began work on her second book, examined the negotiations surrounding climate change regimes and the reduction of emissions, and an analysis of the World Trade Organization’s role in the issue. Her work history includes environmental policy research and consultation in the private and public sectors. Professor Jinnah has previously taught classes in ecology, environmental studies, and environmental politics. She has a PhD in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of California at Berkeley, an MS in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana at Missoula, and earned her BA from the University of California at Berkeley in Environmental Science.
