National Council for Science and the Environment

The National Council for Science and the Environment is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the scientific basis for environmental decision making.  We envision a society where environmental decisions by everyone are based on an accurate understanding of the underlying science, its meaning and limitations, and the potential consequences of their action or inaction. Funding Information

Annie's Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship

Through our Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship Program, we will award 3 lucky (and of course very deserving) students with $10,000 scholarships each, and 8 students with $2,500 in scholarship assistance. That’s a total of $50,000, to be used for tuition, books, and other educational expenses! Annie's Homegrown Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship Program is open to full time undergraduate and graduate students beginning or returning to an accredited 2 or 4 year technical or college program or graduate school in the U.S. Students must be focusing on classes in sustainable agriculture and have at least one more year before completing their degree.
