Each program in SIS administers its comprehensive examinations in different ways. In programs where there are set comprehensive examination guidelines, you'll find them attached below. We have also included some resources offered by the university regarding preparation for comprehensive examinations
Comprehensive Examination Formats and Guidelines
- CRS: Oral Exam (and evaluation form)
- DM: Themes and methods sections and oral presentation of practicum report
- EPGA: Within SRP-identification of IPCR themes (see pg. 5 of guidelines)
- GEP: Written Exam, offered in Spring semester
- IC: Oral Exam
- ID: Themes and methods sections and oral presentation of SRP (see pg. 4 of guidelines)
- IER: Capstone paper
- IP: Oral Exam
- IPCR: Within SRP-identification of IPCR themes (see pg. 5 of guidelines)
- MIS: Completion of SIS-686 Proseminar I and SIS-687 Proseminar II
- NRSD: Written Exam, offered in Spring semester
- USFP: Capstone paper
