Research Initiatives

The field of International Communication offers an MA in International Communication, a PhD in International Relations with a specialization in International Communication, and a BA in International Studies with a concentration in International Communication. The field also offers an MA in International Media, a joint degree with the School of Communication.

The International Communication program faculty members are among the leaders in the field, emphasizing the importance of research, teaching, and public dialogue.Faculty work closely with students, at both the master’s and doctoral levels, to advance research and promote professional development through publications, professional associations, and a variety of academic conferences.
