Enlivening Cross-Cultural Training: Three Activities to Encourage Engagement and Skill Building
Presenter(s): Pamela Ex, President, Ex & Associates International
Description: All trainers, both new and experienced, seek activities that guarantee participation, enhance training effectiveness, or present new ways to conduct familiar exercises. Attendees will learn techniques that help training participants share key information, stimulate small-group discussions that help define the goals of each group, address images that cultural groups hold about themselves and other groups; and explore how the meaning of “yes” differs among cultures. This workshop will introduce easy-to-execute activities that involve participants in the learning process and produce skill-based outcomes.
Delivery: Skills Workshop
