Intercultural Management Institute | Education and Development Fund

IMI Training Programs: Preparing tomorrow's intercultural leaders today.

IMI consults with organizations and trains personnel to recognize and manage cultural differences and turn them into competitive advantage in the global marketplace.

About the Education and Development Fund

The Intercultural Management Institute's Education and Development Fund was established in 2005 to fund primarily students and other individuals interested in attending education, training, and development programs in the field of intercultural relations, but who may not otherwise be able to attend such programs.

The Fund covers, in part or in full, the fees for people to attend (as non-credit participants) workshops, symposia, or conferences conducted by IMI.

Applicants to the Fund may be students, alumni, or professionals in the field of intercultural relations who would benefit from attending IMI events, but are unable to participate because of the cost involved.

Applications are encouraged from those whose attendance would further enhance the diversity of attendees at IMI events.

To date, the Fund has awarded over 50 scholarships.

Scholarship Recipient Testimonials

All in all I feel a more complete interculturalist, well equipped to identify, manage, solve, and educate others to the vivacious cornucopia of cross-cultural issues.

Scholarship Recipient Testimonial

This was my first year attending the IMI conference, but it definitely will not be my last. It gave me the broad range of understanding of multicultural management and developing programs and confronting issues that will occur in professional lifestyles. I am excited to have discovered this training, and truly look forward to many more sessions with the IMI!

-Karyn Riley, 2008
