Greetings from Erin Fuller
This is my last greeting as your alumni association president – and I admit, it is bittersweet. I have had some amazing moments as a result of my service on the alumni board – hosting current students at dinner in D.C., speaking to the entire incoming freshman class, carrying the alumni flag at commencement, and, of course, working with passionate and talented alumni on planning any number of programs to serve our 115,000 fellow Eagles around the globe.
As I look toward 2013, I have the opportunity to design a new volunteer experience with AU – and I encourage many of you to make the same resolution. I promise you that giving back to your alma mater pays far greater rewards than what you invest, and your engagement can impact both students and other alumni. So, get involved – interview some prospects, host a send-off party, take some students to dinner, or attend an event. Take the next step. I am so glad I did - and so grateful for this opportunity. Thank you for allowing me to serve.
