OVERVIEW
The Peacebuilding & Development Institute (PDI) is partnering with The Initiative for Inclusive Security to offer a one-day, hands-on training on the subject of Gender and Post-Conflict Reconstruction. The course will provide students with an understanding of the concept of transitional justice and the importance of women's participation on all social levels and reconstruction levels to fully incorporate human rights and human security in developing states.
TRAINING
WILL COVER:
Professional trainers will teach students
both the theory and applied methods of the inclusion of women into the reconstruction
process and especially into transitional justice fields and processes. Students
will utilize relevant case studies and work in groups to present mock policy
and advocacy suggestions.
