Current SIS PhD Students

Di Wu

I was born in China and came to the United States to pursue my Master's degree in 2008. Previous to my study here at American University, I had spent four years studying and working in Los Angeles. I like to travel and my goal is to visit every national park in this country and complete one cross continent road trip.

Why I chose SIS

The School of International Service at American University offers a strong specialization in International Governance, International Politics, and International Communication. It has many experts in different areas. Faculty with diverse research focuses is a great asset for me because not only I am able to work with a wide range of experts, it also creates a favorable atmosphere for various activities such as seminars and conferences, which has been providing me with great experiences on inspiring and deepening my thoughts.
