The Program at Sookmyung Women's University provides AU students a chance gain global perspectives on the world while engaged in classes with Korean and other international students. Course information and applications are now available here.
Site Visits
Students are introduced to Korean traditional culture on and off campus through field trips to the Korean Folk Village, Gyeonbokgung Palace, and the art markets in Insadong.

Program Costs
AU tuition plus fees paid to Sookmyung Women’s University. Details provided in application materials. Scholarships are available upon application.
Who Should Attend
Male and female undergraduate students from all majors and disciplines from AU only.
Logistics
Students are required to stay on the Sookmyung Women’s University campus (International House I) for the duration of the program. Students are required to obtain a C-3 visa. Read more about it here and here.
Application and Deadlines
Applications are due on TBA. Students must fill out the online application at the SISS website, print out the confirmation form and return it to the International Programs Office by the deadline. In addition to the Registration form and confirmation form, please submit the following to the International Programs Office:
-a copy of your passport
-a statement of purpose
-a recent photo for your student ID
-proof of health insurance
Special application instructions:
- Course registration: Indicate your two class choices (6 credits) on your application.
- Housing: AU students must check the box requesting accommodation in International House I.
- Fees: Tuition paid to AU. SISS Program fees waived for AU students.
