Global Scholars

The Global Scholars Program is a highly selective course of study designed for outstanding entering freshmen passionate about creating meaningful change in the world. Global Scholars allows 25 SIS first-year students to enroll in a three-year BA program with the option of considering a four-year BA/MA.

Sakura Scholars

The Bachelor of Arts in Global International Relations is a one-of-a-kind program offered in coordination with American University in the United States & Ritsumeikan University in Japan. Students will be jointly enrolled at both institutions throughout their studies & will spend two years at each university.

Combined BA/MA in International Studies

SIS offers students the opportunity to earn both an undergraduate & a graduate degree, which can be completed in as few as five years. The BA/MA program allows students to take courses that can be used to fulfill both degree requirements, saving students both time & money.

Certificates

An undergraduate certificate reflects the efforts of SIS to expand curriculum while providing students with the opportunity to gain further specialization in an area of interest.

Registration for the certificate is through your academic advisor during your first year as a graduate student and during your freshman and sophomore year as an undergraduate. The certificate is open, by application, to all students, upon registration and the certificate if completed is awarded upon graduation.
