A Wider Circle tells the story of this organization whose mission is simple: to help children and adults lift themselves out of poverty. It focuses on the volunteers of all ages that make this organization tick providing furniture, bedding, linen, non-perishable foods and personal items to needy families free of charge, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. In English Class, Stories of Dreams Lost and Found

Every Tuesday morning, in a small, nondescript room in a back corner of the Wheaton Public Library, men and women gather for a conversation class.  They are old and young, from all over the world: Cameroon, China, El Salvador, Sudan.  They come to practice and improve their English. Montgomery Coalition for Adult English Literacy (MCAEL)

"[The students' video] has been extremely useful as a tool for motivating and inspiring existing and new supporters and donors, and educating new audiences about MCAEL…and it provides a wonderful basis for our future efforts to tell our story through film and other media. In addition, it was a fantastic experience working with the student team, who inspired us and provided great insights into our organization’s work and how we might better frame our story for the larger community."
