• Melanie Bender is an adjunct professor of Journalism. She is the current Production Editor at The Washingtonian and has worked as a content producer at Atlantic Media Company (Government Executive Magazine), a web producer at Stars and Stripes, and as a page designer and copy editor at local newspaper. She received her education from Georgetown University (M.A.) and Mount Saint Mary’s College (B.A.)
