W. Douglas Wendt

W. Douglas Wendt is an adjunct professor of Public Communication. He teaches Public Communication Management for students in the graduate program. Wendt is the founder and president of Wendt Partners, a strategic brand and communications consultancy with offices in New York, N.Y. and Washington, D.C. He is actively involved in the School of Communication community and has served as a panelist, guest lecturer, student mentor and judge for the annual public communication awards program. Wendt's executive career has spanned the private, public and nonprofit sectors, and his research interests focus on change communication and the intersection between internal organizational culture, executive leadership models and the sustainability of external brand perceptions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Franciscan University and a Master of Arts in Public Communication, summa cum laude, from The American University.
