GOALS
The Digital Media Skills Certificate is an online program designed for all professionals who have mastered a grab-bag of skills on the job, and want to retool with a focus on how to use social networking in the digital media landscape. For mid-career professionals who left school before Web skills were taught or who are out of the workforce, it may provide a way back into the industry or the skills needed to create a new enterprise. COURSES
The Certificate includes courses in Video for Social Media, Web Development, Dynamic Content (such as iApps) and developments in the current digital landscape. Students will create a capstone project that can be used as a career calling card.
PROFESSIONAL RESOURCES
Students will be invited to attend an optional on-campus session at the end of the program to show their work and receive professional critiques.
Priority application deadline is January 1, with rolling admission until the start of the program.
