The Digital Media Skills Certificate is designed for anyone interested in learning how to use social networking in the digital media landscape. This program not only provides skills training, but also examines the theories behind new methods of conveying information, how audiences take in and react to this type of messaging, and how media must adapt its message.
As one of the only online programs of its kind, this graduate certificate is accessible to students from a wide variety of backgrounds, offering the opportunity to participate in graduate level learning on a flexible schedule.
The program is suited to wide range of students, including those without a prior background in digital media, mid-career professionals who left school before Web skills were taught and fresh graduates interested in advanced skills training. Read more
NEW! NONDEGREE STUDY OPTION
Students interested in skills training only may take up to three courses as a nondegree student. Students who complete at least two nondegree courses with a grade of "B" or better have the option to transfer directly into the certificate program.
Certificate program students are invited to attend an optional on-campus session at the end of the program to show their work and receive professional critiques.
